NEW ALBUM 'PRIMAL' OUT NOW
6th April 2018 is the release day of PRIMAL - the concept album by a jazz trio Confusion Project. This is the band's third album after the debut "How to Steal a Piano?" and the second album "The Future Starts Now". The record is released by the label SOLITON.
PRIMAL is a suite divided into parts describing the journey of a lonely man who finds his true nature and primality by his contact with nature. It is a story about a man who has the courage to give vent to his dreams and instincts, and go into the unknown. Escaping from civilization, struggling with the hardships of a lonely journey, he experiences a great adventure that helps him find his nature, his original sensitivity, which he lost long ago. PRIMAL is one illustrative piece divided into chapters. It is a monologue of the main character, described by the band in their music. You can hear all the bustling forests, rustling streams, fresh mountain wind and arduous climb, rewarded by beautiful landscapes. When creating the album, the band hoped that the listeners would be able to empathize with the main character of the PRIMAL suite and would live this journey in their own unique way. |
