In 2015, Adam Golicki made his debut with a solo album entitled "AD SHAVE". He invited two outstanding, experienced jazz musicians to the project – a saxophonist Maciej Sikała and an accordionist Cezary Paciorka as well as and young musicians – a pianist Michał Ciesielski and a bassist Piotr Gierszewski.
The compositions are fresh, diverse and energetic, they give pleasure not only to fans of "lighter" sounds, but also to true connoisseurs of jazz music. Adam Golicki completed his bachelor studies in the University in Zielona Gora, and his masters stuidies in the Music Academy in Wroclaw where he got his masters degree as a jazz drummer. Winner of the Polish Percussion Competiition (2003) and the winner of Jazz & Blues Bands Festival in Gdynia (2005), awarded in School & Jazz Festival (2012). He collaborates with many musicians such as: Maciej Sikała, Cezary Paciorek, Maciej Grzywacz, Piotr Lemańczyk, Przemek Dyakowski, Dominik Bukowski, Kuba Stankiewicz, Inga Lewandowska, Grzegorz Nagórski, Zdzisław Babiarski, Big Band of the Zielona Góra University, Visegrad Quintet, since 2015 he collaborates with an Indonesian pianist – Dwiki Dharmawan, with whom he performed at the prestigious Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta. |
